Elmore County Busted Mugshots is a private reference project, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve an official booking record, or decide whether a warrant is active. Contact the responsible public office directly for an official answer.

Where to Ask for an Elmore Record

Choose the office that actually holds the record. The county jail and sheriff handle booking and custody questions. Mountain Home Police handles its own incident records. Glenns Ferry's clerk handles city-held material when the city confirms it has the document. The court, IDOC, BOP, and ICE each answer separate post-booking or custody questions.

The sheriff's current records request form accepts document/report and photograph requests. It says photographs are supplied on a CD, cannot be emailed, and cost $2.00 plus mailing cost. Describe the person, date, incident, and case number as fully as possible. The form explains an initial three-business-day review and the longer response framework when more time is needed.

Choose the Right Lookup

The following routes keep county custody, a city report, a court case, and later state or federal custody from being mixed together:

Before Calling an Agency

Have the full name, date of birth when appropriate, arrest or booking date, city, incident type, and case number ready. Say whether the request concerns current custody, a released booking, an incident report, a photograph, or a court disposition. This helps staff route the question and reduces the chance of confusing two people with similar names.

For a routine custody notification, the county jail page links VINE and lists 1-866-984-6343. VINE is a notification channel, not a booking-photo service. For an immediate danger, call 911. For a routine public-safety question, use the sheriff's non-emergency or dispatch number, (208) 587-2100.

Only the originating office can confirm current custody, release, charges, or the legal effect of a court order. Information on a private index or social post may be incomplete or out of date.
